“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
– Vincent Van Gogh

Pacifica is a naturally beautiful small coastal community in the San Francisco Bay Area that is filled with artists, makers, creative spaces, and unique small businesses. Handmade Pacifica's purpose is to highlight these people and places.

Handmade Pacifica’s mission is to organize events, highlight makers, promote local art and craft related events, and provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and education. Handmade Pacifica supports and values businesses that are small, local, and provide handmade products. Handmade is not machine made and is something of quality. We value knowing the people whose hands make the products in front of us.

Arts and food in culture communicate the central beliefs and values of communities. When we share what we make with one another and the greater community we are connecting over what we value. This ultimately connects us and strengthens our community. The value of Handmade Pacifica is to the community. The purpose is to shine a light on Pacifica makers and their amazing skills and spirit. Handmade Pacifica was created for the community and also to benefit its artists, crafters and makers.
